34% (19/68) of user researchers are concerned with data protection and privacy on third party tools such as the platform we are building in our recent survey. We recognise that data privacy and security vary depending on the company and client as well as rules & regulations based on location. We are starting to address this including:
• an ID for each participant as a mandatory field whereas their name is optional
• ability to add hyperlinks for documents e.g. consent forms, transcripts rather than storing it on our platform

We are seeking legal advice on data protection and privacy so we can incorporate features on our platform to provide further compliance.
